American Airlines is refreshing its onboard experience with a new range of complimentary inflight snacks from October. They offer a wider variety of sweet and savoury options to main cabin passengers.
Guided by feedback and testing, the selection reflects how passengers snack throughout the day and expands choice and variety.
Morning flights will continue to feature Biscoff cookies. For a sweet-and-savoury start to the day, Pepperidge Farm’s Goldfish baked snack crackers will also now be offered.
Later in the day, Goldfish will continue to be served along with Tate’s Bake Shop chocolate chip cookies and Peterson’s savoury and sweet snack mix.
Snacks will rotate over time as the century-old airline adapts to customer feedback and preferences. Further changes are anticipated in 2027.
Heather Garboden, Chief Customer Officer at American Airlines, said: “Small details can make a meaningful difference in the travel experience, especially the familiar touches customers look forward to throughout their journey. As we looked at our snack offerings, we wanted to take the time to get this refresh right by listening to customer feedback and understanding what customers value most. This updated lineup brings together beloved favourites and new choices in a way that feels familiar, elevated and enjoyable.”
