New summer menu from Aer Lingus

Aer Lingus has rolled out a new summer menu and expanded its inflight entertainment (IFE) library.

Irish-inspired dishes have been hand-picked based on passenger feedback for a new Business class menu and upgrades to both Economy and Business.

The new menu includes skin-on-thyme and parsley chicken supreme, herb-infused roasted pork, flaky pan-fried hake and citrus-marinated salmon.

Vegetarians can enjoy a rich root vegetable and pearl barley stew with seasonal salad.

Irish smoked salmon, saffron-poached prawns and a roast parsnip and seasonal apple soup are also available.

A revamped dessert menu offers lemon cream mousse and a local cheese board.

Additionally, Aer Lingus has expanded its IFE library by more than a third.

Susanne Carberry, Chief Customer Officer at Aer Lingus, said: “At Aer Lingus, we value feedback and constantly review our food and entertainment offerings to ensure we meet the needs of our passengers.

“Based on our feedback, I am pleased to say that we’ve upgraded the quality and range of food onboard for both Economy and Business class passengers and have increased the amount of inflight entertainment content by more than one-third.”
