GIC International Catering (GIC) is providing in-flight catering services for Lufthansa Cargo pilots.
With the new contract, valid since the beginning of 2026, the Kelsterbach-based caterer strengthens its presence at nearby Frankfurt Airport.
The partnership covers eight daily flights on intercontinental routes, including Frankfurt to Chennai, Chicago, Mumbai, Beijing, Sao Paulo, Shanghai and Tokyo.
Operations in the cargo sector are characterised by tight schedules and a high level of complexity. Consequently, requirements relating to quality, timing and reliability in crew catering are particularly demanding.
The Lufthansa Cargo crews receive a premium à la carte selection, based on business class menus. The food that they are served is complemented by options ranging from fresh club sandwiches to a selection of salads.
