Aviva makes series of key appointments

Aviva, a provider of inflight products to international airlines, has made several appointments to its global team.

Anthony Lau takes on a new role as Senior Product Development Manager, based in Hong Kong.

Lau previously held procurement and product development positions at companies including Harmony, SPIRIANT and Watermark. His focus has been on developing innovative products, vendor management, pricing strategies and negotiation.

At Aviva, Lau will include driving product innovation, enhancing customer satisfaction and ensuring competitiveness in pricing negotiations in the textiles and amenity kits categories.

“I am excited to join Aviva Aviation Supply and look forward to collaborating with the team to provide exceptional products and services to our customers,” he said.

Bringing 13 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, customer service, freight, warehousing and distribution, Sandhya Sunil has been appointed as Logistics and Procurement Specialist and is based in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates.

Sunil has a background in managing complex logistics operations and delivering efficient, end-to-end logistics solutions. Her expertise will play a role in strengthening Aviva’s global logistics and supply capabilities and ensuring the seamless delivery of products to customers.

I’m eager to help shape logistics that’s ready for the future by optimising Aviva’s supply chain and supporting strategic distribution initiatives,” she commented.

Meanwhile, Khaled Dasouqi has been appointed as Sales Director. Based in Kuwait, his focus is on securing new business and overseeing additional key accounts across the region.

Dasouqi is committed to fostering enduring, trusted relationships. He will play a key role in identifying new opportunities and developing innovative ideas in collaboration with representatives of the region’s airlines.

Dasouqi said: “It is an honour to be part of AVIVA’s amazing team, I am very excited and motivated to grow this business together.”

Maren Kowalik takes on the role of Supply Chain and Office Manager on August 11.

She will be tasked with sourcing and building strong supplier relationships plus driving greater efficiency and value in aviation projects.

Kowalik commented: “I’m thrilled to join the company and excited about the opportunity to contribute my expertise in procurement and supply chain management. I look forward to work closely with the team to support the company’s growth and success in the aviation industry.”
