Jonathan ‘Jono’ Fagg has been appointed as Stellar Entertainment’s Senior Technology Strategist.
Known as Jono, he will partner with Stellar’s Vice President of Technology in the newly created role.
The objective of the role is to shape the company’s technology vision and innovation roadmap, focusing on AI-enabled content ecosystems, next-generation digital experiences and connected cabin innovation.
In his new role, Jono will work cross-functionally across the business, collaborating with clients, strategic partners and technology providers to help advance Stellar’s innovation initiatives, support next-generation commercial opportunities, and contribute technical and strategic insight across the company’s product and platform ecosystem.
He will also play a key role in identifying emerging technologies, new service offerings, and future-focused business opportunities as Stellar continues to scale its capabilities globally.
Jono brings over 15 years of experience in enterprise digital transformation and emerging technology strategy to the role. He led digital experience at GoodLife Fitness, Canada’s largest gym operator, and partnered with global automotive manufacturers at JD Power.
His work has spanned CX platforms, digital commerce, AI-driven solutions and product leadership inside global organisations.
“I’ve always been drawn to industries mid-disruption, that’s where the most interesting work happens. IFE is in that moment right now, and Stellar is one of the few players with the foundation to shape what comes next rather than react to it,” commented the newly appointed Senior Technology Strategist.
Sam Allen, Chief Executive Officer of Stellar Entertainment, said: “As airlines continue to rethink the passenger experience through the lens of connectivity, personalisation and intelligent digital services, bringing Jono into the business represents another important step forward in our innovation journey. He has a proven ability to identify where technology is heading and translate that into real business impact, and we’re delighted to have him as part of the team.”
