World Travel Catering and Onboard Services Expo (WTCE) has introduced The Journey Circle, an advisory network of senior airline and hospitality professionals.
The Journey Circle is dedicated to steering the future of inflight catering, onboard comfort and the passenger experience.
It aims to strengthen collaboration between WTCE and the airline community.
The initiative will provide a platform for airline experts to share ideas, insights and challenges, ensuring that WTCE continues to reflect the evolving needs and realities of the onboard services industry.
Founding members of The Journey Circle include Simone Walli, Catering Manager, Culinary Art and F&B Onboard Concepts at Austrian Airlines; Samson Arega, Group Vice President Customer Experience at Ethiopian Airlines; Tobias Ögren, Head of Inflight Product and Catering at Sunclass Airlines; and Louise Leaupepe, Inflight Experience Senior Manager, Commercial at Riyadh Air.
Each member has been selected for their expertise and strategic insight into key areas of inflight hospitality, including catering innovation, passenger comfort and sustainability.
The Journey Circle will advise on content themes, innovation areas and partnership opportunities for WTCE 2026 and beyond.
WTCE 2026 will be held April 14-16 at the Hamburg Messe. The expanded show floor for 2026 will include a third hall, Hall A2, which will be dedicated to gategroup and its onboard brands.
