Thai Airways has launched a new children’s activity programme to engage young travellers onboard its planes.
The activity kits all feature items themed after the iconic Disney characters Moana or Mickey Mouse.
Crafted with children in mind, the programme encourages independent play, creativity and storytelling. In order to help children feel ‘grown up’, the artwork is intentionally cool and stylised.
The airline launched the new kits at The World Travel Catering & Onboard Services Expo (WTCE) in Hamburg.
Working with Buzz, which creates innovative products for airlines and hotels, Thai Airways has ensured each kit has reusability potential so that children can continue playing even when they’ve left the aircraft and waste is reduced.
The kits include items like a gadget bag, pop-up boardgame and other activities, embroidered patches, a snake puzzle and coloured pencils, all in a portable satchel-style bag.
Thai Airways’ special Children’s Kits are available onboard now for passengers who pre-order a children’s meal.
