From the start of 2025, United Airlines has been serving complimentary Laurent-Perrier La Cuvée Brut NV Champagne to its United Polaris passengers. It is the first and only U.S. airline to serve that particular non-vintage Champagne.
Laurent-Perrier La Cuvée Brut NV offers more Chardonnay and longer ageing than most Champagnes in its class.
On average, United serves 1.1 million glasses of Champagne each year to it United Polaris passengers.
The sparkling addition is the latest evolution in United’s holistic wine programme overhaul, its largest to date, and ongoing investment to elevate the airline’s food and beverage offerings.
Since late 2023, the airline has onboarded restaurant-quality, premium brands such as Shafer Vineyards, Gary Farrell, Chartron et Trebuchet and Pascal Jolivet. As part of changes to the domestic wines offered to Economy class passengers, United now stocks canned wines from the woman-owned businesses Maker Wines and Just Enough Wines.
