The Drinks Bakery serves up the perfect pairing

The Drinks Bakery exhibited at the World Travel Catering & Onboard Services Expo (WTCE) in Hamburg earlier this month, showcasing its range of baked Drinks Biscuits.

Produced in Scotland, UK, the savoury biscuits have been thoughtfully designed to match flavour profiles to drinks.

For example, the Parmesan, Toasted Pine Nuts & Basil biscuits are ideal for pairing with blonde beer and larger, champagne and prossecco and highland whisky.

A Lancashire Cheese & Spring Onion flavour is better suited for ‘strongly hopped’ craft IPAs and bitter beers, acidic white wines and craft stout and pilsners.

The umami flavour from the Pecorino, Rosemary & Seaweed biscuits compliments flavours in gin-based cocktails, while the Mature Cheddar, Chilli & Almond biscuits suit Belgian style fruity beers, cask finished craft beer and Riesling & Malbec style red wines.

A mini box contains four biscuits, with the slightly larger option containing eight.

The Drinks Biscuits are already offered onboard Aer Lingus on transatlantic flights in Business, and on Eurostar.
