SWISS Magazine returns in print

SWISS will reintroduce a print version of its inflight publication, SWISS Magazine, when it introduces its new flagship aircraft, the Airbus A350.

As a special edition SWISS Magazine will mark the arrival of the Airbus A350.

The 160-page magazine covers the introduction of the jet from the initial concept through production at Airbus in Toulouse to the onboard experience.

“The magazine shows how countless individual parts become a mighty aircraft, offers insights into the world of SWISS and aviation, inspires travel, and presents Switzerland at its best,” said Léa Wertheimer, Head of Corporate Communications at SWISS.

“After a three-year break, our inflight reading is back. For our guests, it’s a piece of familiarity that also opens up new stories. For the first time, we’re combining the tactile reading experience with digital extras: via QR codes, there are videos and additional images,” commented Wertheimer.

In the magazine, readers can accompany the Airbus A350 on its journey to becoming the new fleet flagship with SWISS Senses cabins. worlds.

The new print issue takes its readers to lively destinations like Seoul, telling the stories of people that make SWISS what it is, including a flight attendant who is making the bold transition to the cockpit crew corps.

A number of extra features provide entertainment, including a challenging Wimmelbild hidden object game for the kids, an A350 quiz for aviation fans and a glimpse into the galleys where chef Tanja Grandits shares a secret.

After reading an article in the print magazine, passengers can view a corresponding video online. After readng about a destination on its pages, more digital images, stories and tips are available.

The online version of SWISS Magazine features exclusive video formats such as Behind the Wings and Ask the Expert, which offer background insights into the world of SWISS.

The special edition of the magazine is available exclusively onboard the flagship aircraft in seat pockets and in the magazine racks of all long-haul aircraft and at selected locations such as First and Business class lounges.

The print version of the magazine is supplemented by an eJournal that SWISS travellers can download at any time onto their personal electronic device.
