Onboard Hospitality Forum-Asia concludes in Singapore

The Onboard Hospitality Forum-Asia took place at the Sands Exhibition and Convention Centre in Singapore on November 19-20. The largest free-to-attend passenger experience and business performance expo in Asia was co-located with the Future Travel Experience’s APEX Asia EXPO.

Suppliers including Procurall SolutionsRMT Global PartnersFlightpartsLinstolZibo RainbowEn Route and Formia had stands at the Onboard Hospitality Forum-Asia. So too did AviasoftReedbutITW Envopak and Avio Pack.

Food and drink products and catering services were also showcased during the two-day event. Do FoodFoodfolk AustraliaFoodcase InternationalManna from Heaven and Traiteur de Paris had stands.

“The Onboard Hospitality Forum-Asia provided the opportunity to engage with key airline contacts in the APAC region. It was our first time at the event and we’ll for sure be back in 2025,” commented Nicky Slater, Business Development Manager – Airlines at ITW Envopak.

“Foodcase International had the opportunity to meet with new industry leaders and catch up with customers and friends.  We were able to show some new sustainable and high-quality inflight catering solutions, emphasising our  innovation’s role in improving travel experiences,” commented Wilbert de Louw, Chief Executive Officer at Foodcase International.

“From insightful sessions and live demonstrations to valuable networking opportunities, the event successfully fostered collaboration across the industry. Kudos to the organisers for delivering such a high-calibre experience – we look forward to the 2025 edition,” he added.

Two of the Onboard Hospitality team were present in Singapore: Craig McQuinn, Associate Publisher, and Stuart Forster, Retail and Technology Editor. Forster moderated three of the panel discussions held during the expo, whose theme was Innovate to Grow, including one within the Premium Conference.

On the Expo Stage, Nick Wiley, Global Managing Director at En Route, and Oren Cohen ButanskyExecutive Vice President – Customer Experience and Sales at EL AL Israel Airlines participated in a session entitled Enhancing Inflight Service and Food and Beverage Offerings while Minimising Waste and Maximising Sustainability.

Ju Li Ng, Divisional Vice President of Cabin Crew at Air India, Obukhova Yelena, Vice President of Inflight Services at Air Astana and Edwin Lim, Head of Commercial and Retail at dnata, provided insights relating to the topic of Improving the Inflight Experience for Passengers, and the Latest Onboard Product Innovations.
