‘Exceptional’ show for Plane Talking Products

Plane Talking Products returned to the World Travel Catering & Onboard Services Expo (WTCE) this year with sustainability at the top of its agenda.

The company was showcasing its range of tableware, amenities, textiles, whilst also sharing the news of its recent ISO14001 certification.

At the show Plane Talking Products launched four new Economy meal service rotable ranges. Designed in conjunction with a group of prestigious UK tableware designers, the full-tray sets include new shapes, designs and functionality, as well as full consideration of changing waste management practice and sustainability.

It also highlighted its new range of bone china, porcelain and glass-based tableware, as well as new glassware, contemporary cutlery and eco-friendly table linen.

“WTCE 2023 for us was an exceptional show – we were thrilled with the response to the new products that we were showcasing,” said Alison Wells, Director, Plane Talking Products.

“Sustainability was high on everyone’s agenda as expected and it was great to be able talk this through and share our solutions and recommendations with the airlines.”

Plane Talking Products was also involved with the Taste of Travel programme, where Alison moderated a session. “Personally, I really enjoyed the Taste of Travel sessions I managed to catch and especially moderating the panel on ‘Bringing the Fun Back to Flying’.

“I always think that WTCE gives you a great overview of where the inflight industry is at that time and we felt energised and enthused by what we saw and heard over those few days,” she added.
