U.S broker DFMi is ready to respond to the growing need for clear labelling and allergy concerns with a range of free-from snacks to suit all diets and allergies.
Among the portfolio is ELAVI offering collagen protein bars and superfood cashew butters which are gluten and grain free, and designed to deliver maximum nutrients from cashews, dates, plant protein and collagen (bars only). The bars are free from dairy, egg and soy, while the cashew butters are also vegan, gluten free, low sugar, peanut- and almond-free, and use no palm oil.
There is no palm, canola or sunflower oil in the products as the collagen bars use coconut oil and the nut butters use hempseed oil. There are no refined sugars or sugar alcohols as sweetness comes from organic honey, dates and monkfruit.
Also ticking the free-from boxes are the Nature’s Bakery soft-bakes, a plant-based, dairy-free, nut-free and non-GMO verified range available in six fruit-filled flavours: Apple Cinnamon, Blueberry, Original Fig, Peach Apricot, Raspberry and Strawberry; and the Fit for All range with bold flavours and allergen-friendly ingredients. These are grain and gluten free, certified vegan and created using ingredients that are free from the top eight allergens.
