Cult New York store Magnolia Bakery is taking to the skies after signing a deal to serve its famous banana pudding dessert on United Airlines.
The West Village business had previously secured legendary status among young consumers, who regularly flood social media sites such as TikTok and Instagram to sing the sweet treat’s praises since it sells out so often.
United will serve a new variety of the dessert – the Banana Pudding Wafer Cookie Bits offering is a frozen-to-thaw option served in individual 3oz cups that has been developed by the partners over the last three years.
“As an avid traveller and baker, I know what an important role food can play in your travels, which is why I’m so excited to bring this new, innovative product to thousands of adventurers each year,” said Bobbie Lloyd, CEO and Chief Baking Officer at Magnolia Bakery.
“This is a first-of-its-kind collaboration for Magnolia Bakery and we could not be more thrilled to be working with United.”
The move follows on from Magnolia Bakery’s recent move to open a store inside LaGuardia Airport.
