Aer Lingus has introduced an upgraded inflight experience on its transatlantic flights with refreshed amenity kits, a new seasonal menu and improved inflight entertainment (IFE) options.
New amenity kits in Business class, crafted by Watermark, contain products from natural skincare brand Jo Browne Ireland.
These include Signature Blend Lip Balm and Hydrating Moisturiser, which are packaged in 100% sugarcane tubes.
A pen and toothbrush also incorporate wheat straw, while dental kit and earplug pouches are made from plant-based and biodegradable materials. A 3D-moulded eye mask and socks are available, too.
As part of a new seasonal spring menu, passengers in Business travelling westbound can now enjoy smoked salmon with samphire in a citrus dressing and skin-on thyme and parsley Chicken Supreme.
For dessert, travellers can opt for a lemon cream mousse dome or local Irish cheeseboard. A ‘light bite’ option is Korean BBQ popcorn chicken on a salad of Asian black rice.
Those flying in Economy can find complimentary meals, snacks and drinks supplied by dnata. Beverage options include Vinca organic red or white wine, beer, soft drinks or juice.
Passengers can also enjoy over 1,300 pieces of IFE content, including games, the latest movies and TV boxsets such as Loki, The Mandalorian and Ms. Marvel.
Chief Customer Officer, Susanne Carberry, said: “As a Skytrax 4-star airline, Aer Lingus is continuously investing in enhancements to our inflight offering. By listening to valued feedback from our passengers, we’ve introduced new additions that we know will elevate their journeys.”
