Korita Aviation will be showcasing its enhanced galley equipment at this year’s World Travel Catering & Onboard Services Expo (WTCE).
Called the Super Lightweight range, the refreshed equipment is designed to help airlines reduce fuel consumption, lower costs and boost operational efficiency.
Korita Aviation has revamped its existing design by optimising its material and creating a slimmer and more ergonomic structure.
This has allowed for a weight reduction from 10.9kg to 10.1kg for a half-sized meal cart and from 17.3kg to 16.1kg for a full-size meal cart.
A waste management solution named the Waste Ring Bag will also be showcased at the show in Hamburg.
It enables meal carts to be transformed into waste carts, which eliminates the need for waste trolleys. It also contributes to waste separation for recycling.
Korita Aviation will be exhibiting at Booth 1D10 at WTCE 2025.
