Passengers can now upgrade from Economy to Business class with a new solution from KM Malta Airlines.
Named Plusgrade, the product enables those on eligible flights to place a bid for an upgrade from the time of booking until 24 hours before departure. It is available on all KM Malta Airlines operated flights (excluding Catania).
To participate, passengers must visit the Business class section on the KM Malta Airlines website after booking their initial Economy flight. They can then select their bid amount for each flight segment they wish to upgrade.
If the bid is successful, the indicated credit card will be charged and a new e-ticket reflecting the upgraded and confirmed Business class status will be issued. If the bid is not accepted, the original ticket remains valid with no additional charges.
David Curmi, Executive Chairman at KM Malta Airlines, said: “I am very pleased to announce that we have today launched our new Plusgrade product designed to enhance the experience for our passengers.
“The upgrading to Business class option is part of our broader commitment to continue to enhance our product offerings.”
