Onboard Hospitality has been shortlisted in the Trade Publication of the Year (Print) category of the UK’s Travel Media Awards. The winners of the 2023 Travel Media Awards will be announced at The Savoy, in London, on Monday 23 October.
This year marks the ninth edition of the highly-regarded awards. Hundreds of entries were received across 21 categories. The organisers of the Travel Media Awards say that the finalists are on a ‘shortlist representing the very best of travel journalism, broadcasting and photography’.
Travel Media Awards
“We are delighted to have been shortlisted in this year’s Travel Media Awards in the Trade Publication of the Year (Print) category. These awards are very prestigious and we are excited,” commented Sue Williams, Publisher at Onboard Hospitality, about the magazine’s first shortlisting for any of the Travel Media Awards.
“The Onboard Hospitality team works tirelessly to cover a very complex industry covering airlines, rail travel, cruising and ferries around the world. We are honoured to help the industry we know and love spread the word about all their amazing achievements in the fields of sustainability, design, catering, technology and passenger comfort.
“Thank you for recognising all the hard work we put into Onboard Hospitality. We look forward to the awards ceremony and will have our fingers crossed.”
“Commercially this is the best news you can possibly receive as not only does it cement the importance of our presence in the market but allows advertisers to be confident that their budget is being spent in the right place and their message noted,” said Craig McQuinn, Associate Publisher at Onboard Hospitality.
“There’s no doubt that I’ve joined BMI Publishing at an exciting time. I have enjoyed every moment of working with our talented team on Onboard Hospitality. I’m delighted that we have been shortlisted in this year’s Travel Media Awards,” commented Sheena Adesilu, who took up her position in July.
A representative from the magazine will be present at The Savoy for the awards evening on 23 October.
