NICE wine available on Wizz Air

Canned wine from the London-based wine company NICE becomes available on Wizz Air this month. The cans hold 187ml of wine.

In addition to becoming available on the Budapest-headquartered low-cost carrier, NICE’s Pale Rosé, Sparkling White and Sauvignon Blanc canned wines be stocked in ASDA, Co-op, Morrisons and WHSmith Travel across the United Kingdom.

NICE Pale Rosé is an 11% alcohol by volume (ABV) wine from just outside Montpellier in southern France. It is a crisp and dry rosé.

The Sauvignon Blanc (11.5% ABV) is sourced from the Cotes de Gascogne region of France. It is dry, crisp and tasting notes suggest “a wink of peach”.

At 10% ABV, NICE Sparkling White Wine is dry and crisp. It is a Spanish Airén from the La Mancha region.

NICE was founded by two London-based entrepreneurs with a background leading successful and innovative food start-ups. Lucy Busk was a Co-Founder of Cuckoo bircher muesli and Ananas Consulting while Jeremy May’s experience included Propercorn and Vita Coco.

The company’s founders acquired £300,000 from angel investors before launching, including investment from Cassandra Stavrou and Ryan Kohn of Propercorn. More recently, Grace Beverly, the social media influencer and founder.

Lucy Busk, a Co-founder of NICE, said: “Since creating NICE five years ago with my co-founder Jeremy May, we’ve been laser-focused on redefining the way the world wines by getting our quality, unpretentious wine into as many places as possible.”

Securing four new nationwide listings for our canned range, a new airline and seeing our total wine solution go live in Co-op, all within a few weeks of each other, has marked a massive shift in the way consumers are drinking and enjoying wine. We have so much more in the pipeline for 2024 and can’t wait to further our mission,” added Busk.
