Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian update onboard drinks menus for summer

New wines, cold brew coffee and regional partnerships introduced across both carriers

Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines have revamped their onboard drinks menus for the summer, introducing exclusive wines, coffee and regional beverages across their cabins.

This includes a new international Business Class wine selection such as Louis Roederer Collection Champagne, Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars Armillary Cabernet Sauvignon, and Paul Hobbs Russian River Chardonnay.

The announcement also marks the introduction of Stumptown Copilot Cold Brew on select Alaska Airlines domestic flights and Reykjavik routes, marking the first time the Portland coffee brand has been served onboard.

Kelly McCann, Senior Manager of Product and Innovation Stumptown, commented: “In 2011, our first cold brew stubby took Stumptown beyond the café. Now, with Copilot Cold Brew and our partners at Alaska, we’re taking Stumptown cold brew to new heights. We hope you enjoy the ride.”

Hawaiian Airlines has also introduced its Tide & Vine wine range in the Main Cabin. The collection supports ocean restoration projects through a partnership with Hawaiian conservation organisation Mālama Maunalua.

According to the airlines, the drinks have been selected to pair well with the onboard dining options while shining a spotlight on producers from the US West Coast, Hawaii and globally.

Mark Krolick, Managing Director of Products and Guest Experience at Alaska Airlines, said the refreshed selection reflects growing demand for premium beverages and regional brands onboard.
