ANA is launching three new specially painted Pokémon Jet aircraft as part of celebrations marking the 30th anniversary of the Pokémon franchise and the 40th anniversary of the airline’s international services.
The initiative centres on the theme of “experience the excitement and fun of the journey with Pokémon” and builds on a partnership that began with the launch of the world’s first Pokémon Jet in 1998.
The airline said the three aircrafts will be in colours red, green and blue respectively and introduced sequentially during 2026 as part of a wider campaign designed to surprise and engage passengers.
ANA said the project aims to thank customers for their continued support while introducing a new generation of travellers to the brand through the globally recognised Pokémon characters.
There are limited edition cups, Pokémon-themed cocktail napkins and headrest covers. Original Pokémon goods will also be available to purchase for passengers on board.
The airline said: “ANA is providing the next generation of children and fans around the world with a new brand experience to express our gratitude for their support over the years.”
