American Airlines has rolled out a series of enhancements, including reimagined amenity kits and bedding, as well as new dishes.
Amenities will feature rotating kit designs, new skincare products and fresh bedding.
They will be onboard more than 300 international and transcontinental flights in Flagship First, Flagship Business and Premium Economy cabins from Memorial Day weekend.
For Premium passengers, American’s primary amenity kit will be available yearlong. Regular inflight staples will be joined by an evolving skincare offering from beauty retailer Thirteen Lune.
Travellers can also enjoy limited-edition speciality kits, starting with kits by the same brand.
New bedding, pillows and sleepwear have also been rolled out, based on passenger feedback. The former was made from recycled materials by inflight textile company John Horsfall.

A dual-sided pillow, a collaboration by Ostrichpillow and Global-C, will be available for passengers in Flagship First or Flagship Business. The Nimbus Pillow is an ergonomic and sustainable lumbar support cushion.
Slippers are also on offer for those on international flights in Flagship Business.
Travellers in all cabins, meanwhile, will find lumbar pillows and duvets, as well as throw and fleece blankets. Nearly all of these products are made with recycled fibres and bedding includes 100% recycled fill.
The former will be received in a reusable zipped bag made from recycled fibres in Flagship First, Business and Premium Economy. It will save 25 tonnes of plastic waste a year.
New menus are inspired by popular American Airlines destinations. Highlights include tortellini pasta for all cabins, chilled marinated chicken with mojo verde sauce in Business and a plant-based stuffed red pepper in domestic First class.
“Part of the magic of travel is connecting our passengers to the people and experiences that matter most to them,” said Kim Cisek, Vice President of Customer Experience at American Airlines.
“We’re taking that concept to the skies by introducing a new, dynamic onboard programme that’s inspired by feedback from our passengers and team members.”
