New catering facility opens at Kahului Airport

Flying Food Group (FFG) has opened a new inflight catering facility at Kahului Airport on the island of Maui in Hawaii to strengthen its operational footprint across the Hawaiian Islands.

The new facility extends Flying Food Group’s presence across all four of Hawaii’s major islands and marks the 14th inflight catering facility in FFG’s U.S. network, reinforcing the company’s commitment to supporting airline partners with reliable, high-quality catering services in key markets.

The facility’s opening was marked by a traditional Hawaiian blessing ceremony ahead of the official start of operations.

Operations commenced successfully with Hawaiian Airlines, part of Alaska Air Group, supporting its 10 daily flights.

Nicolas Rondeau, Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Flying Food Group, said: “The opening of our Maui facility represents another important milestone in Flying Food Group’s continued growth in Hawaii. Launching operations smoothly from day one demonstrates the strength of our operational teams and the close collaboration we maintain with our airline partners. We are proud to further strengthen our relationship with Hawaiian Airlines and Alaska Airlines and to deliver the high standards of service their operations demand.”
