Moment has been chosen by Air Sierra Leone, the African country’s new flag carrier, to introduce a Wireless In‑Flight Entertainment (W-IFE) solution across its fleet.
Air Sierra Leone was founded in 2024 and is headquartered at Freetown International Airport. It started commercial operations in January 2025 with a regional route between Freetown and Lagos.
Having expanded its fleet and route network, Air Sierra Leone is a regional and international operator.
Moment provides digital onboard solutions for the aviation sector and is equipping Air Sierra Leone’s B737-MAX with its Flymingo Box. The compact, W-IFE server allows passengers to stream content directly to their personal devices through a platform tailored to reflect the airline’s brand identity.
Moment is also the Content Service Provider to Air Sierra Leone, sourcing and integrating an entertainment package that includes 20 films, 20 TV shows, 10 documentaries, 10 podcasts, 10 animated programmes and 10 games. To serve the airline’s international audience, all content is available in English, French and Spanish.
When passengers log on, the platform offers them an intuitive experience. They can discover content through search tools, playlists and a top scroll bar featuring trailers. Reading the inflight digital magazine and browsing the inflight shopping menu are also options.
Feedback is actively encouraged through personalised ratings and surveys, providing the airline with information to refine and improve its service.
