A commitment to conscious travel and a deeper connection with nature is driving a partnership between LATAM Airlines and the cosmetics brand Costa Brazil, facilitated by WESSCO.
The pair have created a new range of collectable amenity kits for the airline’s Premium Business cabins which “celebrate the depth, diversity, and beauty of South America”.
Known as Altitude Collection, the kits draw inspiration from the colours, aromas, and textures of South America’s most iconic landscapes.
“The partnership with Costa Brazil reinforces our commitment to continue elevating the travel experience, awakening onboard a greater connection with our continent and creating opportunities to bring to many customers and destinations the culture, beauty, and natural aspects of South America,” says Paulo Miranda, Vice President of Customers at the LATAM Airlines Group.
Founded by Brazilian designer Francisco Costa, Costa Brazil was born after his first trip to the Amazon with Conservation International.
“This is a very exciting moment for us at Costa Brazil as we begin this partnership with LATAM. I am deeply grateful to be able to expand the reach of our sustainable DNA. LATAM will help us communicate Costa Brazil’s ethos: ‘the spirit of beauty is inseparable from the health of the Earth,’” says Costa.
The Altitude Collection is composed of six collectable kits, each inspired by an iconic landscape and the specific altitude that defines its environment.
For example, the Amazon kit uses lush green tones that recall the density and vitality of the forest, Atacama is designed with earthy and mineral tones inspired by the Chilean desert.
Salar de Uyuni uses luminous whites that reflect the expansive horizon of the salt flats, Titicaca is in deep blues and soft golds evoking Andean waters and mountains, and Vinicunca has layers of vibrant colours inspired by the Rainbow Mountain
Finally, Aconcagua has been designed in a sober and elegant palette reflecting the highest peak of the Andes.
The Altitude Collection connects the entire narrative: the continent, the landscapes, the ingredients, the formulations, and the travel experience come together through the lens of altitude.
The kits offered on international flights longer than seven hours include a selected trio of Costa Brazil essentials, formulated with native Amazonian botanicals.
