Flying Food Group caters for SWISS Washington-Zurich flights

Flying Food Group has begun catering for Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS) flights to Zurich, Switzerland, from Washington Dulles International Airport.

“We are delighted to see our long-time standing customer entrusting us with their new route opening,” said Nicolas Rondeau, Senior Sales and Marketing Management Executive at Flying Food Group.

The nonstop SWISS flights to Zurich from Washington were introduced on March 28. The flights are set to operate daily throughout the summer and five times a week during the winter.

Passengers on the new route will travel on Airbus A330-300 aircraft with First, Business and Economy class cabins. The aircraft can carry a maximum of 236 passengers with eight First class seats, 45 in Business and 183 in Economy.

Following the introduction of the A330-300, SWISS became the first airline in the world to offer First class tickets on all long-haul flights.

The A330-300 is cost-efficient and profitable, providing significantly lower total operating costs per seat than its nearest competitor. This aircraft has the unique versatility to cover all route segments – from short-haul trips to true long-range distances of up to 6,350 miles, allowing passengers to enjoy a comfortable, quiet cabin while in the air.

Flying Food Group also services SWISS International Air Lines flights from John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR), Miami International Airport (MIA), Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD) and San Francisco International Airport (SFO).
