Singapore Airlines has introduced a limited-edition cocktail to celebrate 60 years of Singaporean nationhood.
Passengers visiting the Singapore Airlines SilverKris Lounge at Heathrow Terminal 2 in August will be able to try the exclusive Violet Dress cocktail.
It was created by the Head Mixologist at Sky Bar at COMO Metropolitan Singapore to mark Singapore’s 60th anniversary of becoming an independent and sovereign nation. Celebrations to mark that milestone are taking place throughout the year.
Refreshingly floral, the vibrant cocktail combines Hayman’s Dry Connoisseur Gin, butterfly pea flower tea, limoncello and fresh citrus over crushed ice for a zesty sip.
Light, elegant and finished with a twist of lemon, it’s been described as “a beautiful burst of summer” and “a fitting tribute in a flute”.
Singapore’s National Day is celebrated on August 9. It commemorates the anniversary of the island nation’s independence day in 1965.
