European carrier makes e-library available inflight

Since May 1, passengers on short and medium-haul Lufthansa routes have had free of charge, unlimited access to around 45 magazines from the Media Carrier Solutions‘ media library via the FlyNet Wi-Fi portal.

Integration of daily newspapers will follow. Passengers who want to read publications during flights can use the credits available, depending on their booking class, and download their favourite magazines before flying.

On the ground, Lufthansa passengers can also choose their favourite publication from around 1,600 titles in 40 languages. For the UEFA EURO 2024 football championship, Media Carrier Solutions has also integrated national and international publications relating to carousel under the a relevant heading.

A range of eJournals is also available on long-haul Lufthansa Allegris flights. For the first time, passengers in all classes on Allegris aircraft can read digital newspapers and magazines on the seatback display.
