Emirates has selected Paxia’s cloud-based galley planning platform as part of plans to modernise its catering operations across its global fleet.
The airline will introduce Paxia Galleys and Paxia Schedules to replace its existing galley planning system, bringing galley layouts, equipment configurations and loading plans into a single platform.
According to Paxia, the system is designed to reduce manual processes, improve data accuracy and speed up updates to galley load plans across different aircraft types. The platform will also support dynamic loading and fleet modifications.
Tom Samuel, CEO at Paxia, said: “We are honoured to support Emirates as they enhance their galley planning operations with Paxia Galleys, Schedules, and Insights. Our platform will provide their teams with the tools to deliver the desired customer experience while improving efficiency and providing scalability for their planned growth.”
The implementation forms part of Emirates’ wider CAT360 catering transformation project, which aims to modernise the airline’s catering operations and support future fleet growth.
