EA Inflight has introduced AeroCool, a new reusable cooling bag designed for airline catering operations.
The insulated bag has been developed for transporting temperature-sensitive food and beverage items and is currently being trialled by a number of airlines.
It negates the need for dry ice and is designed to fit within a standard galley cart drawer or positioned directly on top of a cart, providing efficient access during service.
The company positions the bag as ideal for beverages, fresh meals, desserts and frozen items. It is available with customisable branding, sizing, and fleet-wide configurations.
According to the company, early testing has received positive feedback from airline customers.
The bag will be showcased during the upcoming IFSA event in the USA, where the company plans to demonstrate the product to airline catering providers and industry partners.
