American Airlines has introduced new customisable products onboard, including inflight entertainment (IFE), dining options and a rotating amenity kit programme.
Passengers can find free content aloft as the airline adds 200 new titles monthly. Video content can be streamed to personal devices once connected to Wi-Fi.
Exclusive offers from Apple Music, Apple TV + and Audible are also available, allowing travellers to stream on the ground.
Next month, American will reveal a fresh oat milk creamer. Seasonal meals will be available for those travelling in premium cabins on transcontinental flights, as well as flights from Dallas Fort Worth International Airport to both Daniel K. Inouye International Airport in Honolulu and Kahului Airport in Maui.
Passengers with dietary restrictions and needs can pre-order speciality meals. Options include vegan, vegetarian, kosher, Muslim, Hindu, diabetic and gluten-free meals.
American Airlines will rotate back to its core amenity kit in premium cabins this winter. Skincare products are from Relevant and Joanna Vargas, curated from retailer Thirteen Lune.
The airline’s AAdvantage programme will see a series of updates this year, including Wi-Fi miles redemption; lower mileage redemptions to gift status for a day; same-day standby; better value to gift status for a day; extended trip credit; and earning on travel upgrades.
