Asia Pacific Onboard Travel (APOT)’s eleventh Networking Forum will take place from October 28-30 2025 at the Hilton Haikou on Hainan Island in China.
The 2025 Networking Forum will be held in collaboration with the World Shiology Forum (WSF). The WSF places emphasis on sustainability and health, promoting holistic wellness through mind and soul healing. It also tackles issues such as food waste.
APOT has agreed partnerships with both the WSF and Global Culinary Alliance (GCA) to share technology and expertise. Together, the organisations are helping shape a forward-thinking vision for the culinary industry.
The GCA plans to unveil a transparency app, showcasing resources including culinary education, masterclasses and mental health support for culinary professionals.
The GCA will also host an e-parliament focusing on challenges facing the industry. Leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) technology, the topics will cover sustainability and food handling best practices.
The 2025 APOT Networking Forum will host the Golden Knife Global Culinary Challenge, a new venture by GCA that promises to attract culinary talent from around the world.
Competitors will showcase their skills, and spectators around the world can watch using the GCA’s app.
Innovatively, the championship will be judged by a combination of AI systems alongside master chefs, celebrities, social media influencers and food critics.
More details about the APOT Networking Forum will be revealed on the APOT website in due course.
