Etihad Airways will introduce the next-generation Airbus A321LR on flights between Abu Dhabi and the Indian city of Kolkata from September 26, bringing an enhanced onboard passenger experience to the route.
Designed to bring wide-body comfort to a single-aisle aircraft, the Airbus A321LR offers enhanced space, privacy and premium amenities.
The aircraft has two luxury First Suites with forward-facing fully-flat beds in a 1-1 configuration, 14 fully lie-flat Business class seats in a forward-facing 1-1 herringbone layout, plus 4K touchscreens and high-speed Wi-Fi in Economy class.
Passengers in First have the option of companion seating and can view inflight entertainment on a 20-inch 4K screen with Bluetooth audio pairing.
Wireless charging is available on the seats and complimentary, high-speed Wi-Fi is provided.
Those travelling in First will also receive an amenity kit designed by Giorgio Armani. It includes an Armani sleepwear set and slippers, and a range of ESPA cosmetics.
Business class flyers can also take advantage of wireless charging and additional personal storage while utilising seating that is 78 inches (6’ 5”) in length.
The IFE system available to Business travellers has a 17.3-inch 4K screen with Bluetooth headphone pairing. High-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the flight.
They will be supplied a Barajeel-inspired Armani Cube Bag containing a lip treatment, facial mist and hand and body lotion from ESPA. Armani loungewear and slippers will also be provided.
The 144 Economy passengers on Etihad’s flights between Abu Dhabi and Kolkata will sit in seats that are 18.4 inches wide with recline of up to five inches. With USB charging, they will have a 13.3-inch 4K touchscreen.
High-speed Wi-Fi is available for a fee, with complimentary messaging available for Etihad Guest members.
