Air Canada steps up its complimentary Economy offering

Air Canada has upgraded its Economy travel experience. It is offering complimentary beer, wine and exclusive Canadian-made snacks on all flights, including routes to Mexico and the Caribbean.

The offerings are available on flights with beverage service operated by Air Canada, Air Canada Rouge and Air Canada Express flights operated by Jazz.

New snacks include MadeGood Mornings Cinnamon Bun Soft Baked Oat Bars on morning flights, before 10.00am.

After 10.30am, Greenhouse Ginger Defence Wellness Shots will be available on flights from Toronto-Downtown Billy Bishop. Greenhouse makes organic and plant-based products.

The shots are also available in Air Canada’s premium snack baskets and Bistro menu.

The Air Canada Bistro now includes more Canadian-made choices, such as Summer Fresh Hummus and Crackers and Quaker Maple and Brown Sugar Oatmeal Cups, along with new TWIGZ Sour Cream and Onion Pretzels.

Air Canada has become the only North American airline to serve a non-alcoholic beer inflight.

Heineken 0.0 is available, complementing the airline’s route-wide free beer and wine offering.

Scott O’Leary, Vice President, Loyalty and Product at Air Canada, said: “As part of our commitment to elevating the onboard experience, we’re delighted to introduce even more exciting new options to our menus. These upgrades offer something for everyone and proudly showcase Canadian brands so that our customers can sit back, relax and kick-start their travels no matter where they’re going.”
