Skyted and Safran Passenger Innovations (SPI) have reached an agreement to integrate silent call technology in the RAVE inflight entertainment (IFE) system.
The strategic collaboration promises to revolutionise secured inflight calls and to reshape the passenger experience of inflight communication.
Skyted technology captures a voice at its source and limits its diffusion in noisy environments, making it possible to have confidential onboard conversations that do not disturb other passengers. It also reduces the need for cabin crew to remind passengers to speak more quietly.
The technology can increase the productivity of business travellers and enhance the IFE experience.
SPI is dedicated to partnering with breakthrough solutions via its RAVE Open Platform, which enables technologies to be embedded in the RAVE IFE system.
