Map milestone on Gogo-equipped aircraft

FlightPath3D’s mobile-first moving map is now flying on more than 1,000 Gogo Vision-equipped aircraft worldwide. The companies have announced a continuance of the collaboration that began in 2020.

The extended relationship reinforces FlightPath3D‘s role as Gogo’s trusted co-pilot in delivering engaging passenger maps.

The integrated mapping and information service delivers an immersive passenger experience without touching the traveller’s or operator’s data plan.

As a foundational layer of the Gogo Vision inflight entertainment suite, FlightPath3D provides the core passenger map experience across all service tiers.

Whether an aircraft utilises the standard map experience or unlocks the premium interactive capabilities of Gogo Vision+ and Vision 360, passengers gain access to flight tracking and destination intelligence.

Boris Veksler, Chief Executive Officer of FlightPath3D, commented: “From day one, our mission has been to make moving maps feel entirely effortless and captivating for the person in the seat. Continuing our relationship with Gogo allows us to keep raising the standard of inflight entertainment. Surpassing the 1,000-aircraft milestone is a testament to what happens when two high-growth, customer-centric innovators work together.”

Michael Skov Christensen, Chief Revenue Officer at Gogo, added: “The 3D Moving Map is an essential piece of the Gogo Vision experience, which is why it’s included as a core feature across all Gogo Vision plans. FlightPath3D continues to deliver a highly engaging, reliable product that elevates the travel journey for our operators and their passengers alike.”
