Wellbeing in focus at WTCE 2026

As passenger demand for healthier, more comfortable travel grows, the World Travel Catering & Onboard Services Expo 2026 (WTCE) will bring back its Wellbeing Walk-Through feature.

The curated trail will guide visitors to 13 exhibitors showcasing food, drink and onboard solutions designed to support passenger wellbeing. It has been developed by WTCE ambassadors including Julianne Ponan MBE, DrMelissa Adamski and Kelly Stevenson.

WTCE Event Manager Shona Thomson said passenger expectations are driving change across the onboard experience: “Passengers are travelling with wellbeing and comfort in mind when making decisions, and airlines are rethinking every part of the journey,” she said.

“The Wellbeing Walk-Through brings together the suppliers leading that change.”

Health-focused F&B

A range of brands will highlight better-for-you inflight options, from plant-based snacks to functional drinks.

Among them, POSHI (1E110) will present its shelf-stable vegetable snacks, while Life is Bananas (1A109) will showcase freeze-dried fruit products aimed at convenient, mess-free consumption.

Plant-based desserts from The Coconut Collab (1A117) and electrolyte-rich coconut water from Vita Coco (1C110) will also feature, reflecting growing demand for both indulgence and functionality.

Special meals

Free-from and inclusive snacking continues to gain traction, with suppliers responding to a wider range of dietary needs.

Wabba Treats (1A84) will showcase bean-based snacks that are vegan and free from gluten, lactose, nuts and soy, while still offering high protein and fibre content.

Catering innovation

Beyond snacks, suppliers are focusing on scalable meal solutions tailored to aviation.

Foodcase (4D10, 4C10) will present its end-to-end approach to onboard food development, from concept to packaging, while Manna from Heaven (1G69) will highlight handmade frozen meals designed for the travel sector.

Egg-based ready-to-serve dishes from Gut Springenheide (1C70) will also feature, offering versatile catering options.

Comfort and amenities

Wellbeing onboard extends beyond food, with suppliers increasingly focused on comfort and amenity design.

Linstol (4E30, 4E50) will showcase inflight headsets and amenity kits, while John Horsfall & Sons (1F58) will present premium bedding and linens.

Meanwhile, Wet-Nap Europe (1D54) will highlight premium hygiene solutions for passengers and crew.

Sustainability

Environmental considerations continue to shape product development across the sector.

Procurall Solutions (4D50) will showcase eco-conscious amenity kits and dining products, while MILK (4D21) will present ranges developed using recycled materials and carbon-balanced production.
