Higgidy has teamed up with British Airways to serve Higgidy’s rolls onboard all flights to the US and Caribbean departing from Heathrow and Gatwick.
Taking off this month, passengers in World Traveller and World Traveller Plus cabins will be served with a Higgidy roll as the second food service on their flights.
Passengers will be able to choose between two hot, ovenable Higgidy jumbo rolls.
The options will be a Higgidy Cheddar and Caramelised Onion Chutney Roll that brings together Mature Cheddar and Red Leicester cheeses with a mouthwatering caramelised onion chutney, wrapped in all-butter puff pastry, hand topped with a cheese and crispy onion crumb, or a Vegetable Samosa Roll, packed with spiced cauliflower, carrot and chickpeas with sweet mango chutney, wrapped in a vegan puff pastry and hand-topped with a fragrant seed sprinkle.
Both rolls will be served as a bigger than usual, special 95g size made especially for the partnership.
The new partnership was initiated and driven by Ed Pakenham, Managing Director of MileOne Group Ltd, which specialises in onboard catering solutions in the travel sector.
“This partnership is the first travel partnership for Higgidy in this exclusive deal and we hope will soon open the door to further partnerships, bringing Higgidy’s tasty, wholesome food to even more travellers. The full Higgidy range is available in supermarkets including Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Waitrose and Ocado.
