DFMi highlights novel croque monsieur flavour at IFSA

DFMi’s booth at the IFSA Global EXPO was eye-catching because of its colours, size and inviting activities, including a basketball arcade game.

Heather Finidori, a Key Account Manager based in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex explained that one of the company’s recently-introduced products includes a chicken pesto croque monsieur for American Airlines.

The sandwich is available in Business class on American flights from Europe back to the US.

It is a snack-type product served before arrival at the destination. Chicken and pesto provide the hot sandwich with much of its flavour.

It’s otherwise similar to a traditional croque monsieur but instead of the ham, the sandwich features chicken as its protein.

That makes the sandwich more widely consumable as people who do not eat pork or red meat can have the chicken pesto croque monsieur.

It started flying in the springtime of 2024 on American Airlines on a cycle of a month onboard and then two months off.
