Aer Lingus has launched a new autumn menu for Business class.
Meals will feature “hearty and seasonal” Irish produce from Executive Chef Daniel O’ Sullivan.
Passengers departing from Ireland can choose from a thick-cut smoked salmon with dill and pumpkin seed cous-cous or a smooth, creamy leek and potato soup.
For entrees, there is a succulent six-hour braised blade of beef served alongside crushed valeria, sauteed wilted greens and thyme-roasted carrots.
There is also a thyme and parsley chicken supreme with a light asparagus edamame and garden pea risotto or a mild Thai green curry with seared tofu and crisp local vegetables.
Dessert is an apple and caramel domed mousse enriched with apples and custard on a vanilla sponge, drizzled with caramel.
Another option is a local Irish cheese board with Cashel Blue and Dubliner cheese, Burren Balsamics Spiced Apple Chutney and Peter’s Yard Sourdough Crackers.
Before landing, passengers can enjoy a cajun-spiced blackened chicken slider with Emmental cheese and slow-roasted tomato or celeriac and fennel rosti slider, both serviced in a brioche bap.
A trio of sweet treats include a salted caramel cupcake, apple and custard tartlet sprinkled with crumble and red velvet sponge with a buttercream frosting.
Those on longer flights to Denver, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Seattle can enjoy a roasted chicken skewer or roasted plant-based skewer both served in a sticky chilli garlic sauce.
