Turkish Airlines reveals a new line-up for its UEFA Champions League exhibition.
The new display showcases iconic items from the European football clubs with the most appearances in Champions League history. It is located in the airline’s Business class lounge at Istanbul Airport.
The memorabilia has been given a fresh line-up thanks to Turkish Airlines’s new The Starry Journey exhibition, enabling passengers to “relive iconic moments from the tournament”.
As the first official airline partner of the UEFA Champions League, the new display will be open until the 2024 final, on June 1, at Wembley Stadium in London.
Highlights include 33 jerseys, 33 match balls and two pairs of football boots representing 33 teams from Germany, England, France, Spain, Italy, Portugal, the Netherlands and Türkiye.
Signed shirts from Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Karim Benzema, Luis Suárez and Robert Lewandowski take centre stage, too.
Travellers can find boots worn by Ricardo Kaká and Francesco Totti, as well as signed match balls from renowned clubs such as Real Madrid, Manchester United, FC Barcelona, FC Bayern Munich, Liverpool FC, Chelsea FC and AC Milan.
A special edition of the flag carrier’s animated series The Starry Journey’s is also available, with its eighth episode featuring guests of the fan favourite football app 433 and football journalist Fabrizio Romano.
