JetBlue is rolling out new amenity kits, menu changes and inflight entertainment (IFE) updates for spring.
Part of the airline’s Mint experience, the new amenity kits include a reusable foldable backpack and a collectable pouch. Passengers on transatlantic flights can expect the former on March 12, while those on domestic routes in the US can look forward to the latter on April 1.
The mint-hued products are created in partnership with Buzz and designed by sports bag and accessory company Caraa. Travellers can find a host of wellness products inside from eco-friendly brands Dr Dennis Gross and Plus Ultra.
Caraa’s charcoal-coloured sport mesh pouch unfolds into a mint-coloured, functional backpack. Meanwhile, its snappable pouch has four colourways: sage, clay, sand and gunmetal.
Dr Dennis Gross will offer products from its Hyaluronic Marine range, including the Hyaluronic Marine Oil-Free Moisture Cushion, Hydrate + Smooth Hand Treatment, Ultra Gentle Daily Peel treatments and Moisture-Lock Lip Balm.
A sculpted Moso bamboo toothbrush, as well as a Mint gel toothpaste or mouthwash, will be available from Plus Ultra.
Passengers can also enjoy a new menu from restaurant Legacy Records. Breakfast includes coconut yoghurt with maple-pecan and ginger granola, while lamb shoulder with roasted carrots, harissa and citrus breadcrumbs will be served for lunch or dinner.
DIG is bringing a new selection of dishes to JetBlue’s Core experience, too. Lunch or dinner will offer marinated jerk chicken with coconut rice and pickled habanada peppers with sides of shredded beet and carrot salad and candied sunflower seeds, while a herb and cheese frittata with kale, potato and rosemary olive oil will be available for breakfast.
New IFE categories are also on the agenda in March, comprising Luck of the Irish to celebrate the airline’s upcoming seasonal service to Dublin and an Awards Season collection of award-winning and nominated films.
