Emirates serves up a taste of Wimbledon

Emirates is marking this year’s Wimbledon Championships with a programme of themed onboard dining, beverages and inflight entertainment designed to extend the tournament experience for passengers travelling between Dubai and the UK.

Available from June 29 to July 12, the seasonal offering celebrates one of the world’s best-known sporting events, with Wimbledon-inspired food and drink available across all cabin classes.

British strawberries, synonymous with the tournament, feature throughout the menus. First Class passengers are served honey cake with strawberry compote and clotted cream, while Business Class and Premium Economy passengers receive a strawberry tart with pistachio sauce and strawberry yoghurt. Economy passengers are offered a cream cheese mousse with strawberry compote and hazelnut streusel.

The airline’s A380 Onboard Lounge is also embracing the theme with traditional strawberries and cream, Pimm’s cocktails and tennis-inspired pastries. The seasonal experience continues on the ground, with Emirates Lounges in Dubai and the UK serving classic British dishes including fish and chips and coronation chicken during the tournament.

For passengers wishing to follow the action live, Emirates’ ‘ice’ inflight entertainment system is broadcasting Wimbledon coverage via Sport 24 and Sport 24 Extra throughout the championships.

First Class customers will also receive a limited-edition Emirates-branded Wimbledon 2026 towel, produced by Christy, the Official Towel Supplier of The Championships.

The initiative reflects Emirates’ continued use of major global sporting partnerships to create destination- and event-led passenger experiences. In addition to its long-standing partnership with Wimbledon, the airline sponsors all four Grand Slam tennis tournaments as part of its wider international sports sponsorship portfolio.
