Canary Foods is launching a new single serve butter portion, packaged sustainably in plant-based compostable films.
The new Canary Squeeze will support and assist many airlines, cruise lines and other travel operators achieve their waste reduction and sustainability goals. It will replace the long-standing industry standard plastic mini-dish/PCU used all over the world.
The company will be ramping up production to much greater quantities for supply to airlines and other travel operators, plus the general foodservice channels around the world, to cater to the growing demand.
The existing mini-dish plastic packaging is typically made from fossil fuel derived PVC plastic which is a very ”permanent” material and is often disposed of in landfills or incinerated, neither of which is good for local and overall global environments.
