Viasat is offering business aviation operators up to $140,000 per aircraft to help upgrade Ku-band customers to JetXP.
Pathways to transitioning to JetXP include using the existing Gogo Plane Simple Ka-band or Honeywell JetWave terminals or the upcoming Honeywell JetWave X.
Ku-band service will be sunset in September 2026.
The limited-time incentive from Viasat provides a path to JetXP’s service. It promises uncapped speeds, expanded capacity, increased network prioritisation and global regulatory approvals – including in India and China.
JetXP was developed following consultations with customers, partners and research agencies.
The service was introduced less than one year ago. Bringing together legacy Jet ConneX and Viasat Ka services under a unified brand, it now has more than 2,100 worldwide customers.
Viasat’s trusted business aviation distribution partners – Collins Aerospace, Gogo and Honeywell – provide 24/7 support.
Viasat has increased capacity density, network flexibility and redundancy in key regions around the world, including the United States, where an estimated 65% of global business jet traffic originates.
