The British tea brand has launched a trio of ready-to-drink sparkling beverages. Twinings Sparkling Tea is available in three fruit flavours, called Refresh, Defence and Boost.
Developed by Twinings Master Blenders and expert herbalists, the beverages infuse tea and botanicals with sparkling water and fruit juice.
Refresh features raspberry lemonade with hibiscus and Chinese white tea infusion. Magnesium, niacin and vitamin C help to reduce fatigue and promote normal psychological function.
Defence contains orange with passionfruit, elderberry and Chinese green tea infusion. Zinc, as well as vitamins C and D, help to support the immune system.
Boost features lemon with ginger, lemon balm and Indian black tea infusion. Vitamins B6, B12 and C help to reduce fatigue too.
With no added sugar, each beverage contains less than 50 calories per can.
Twinings stated in a LinkedIn post: “Our latest innovation responds to consumer demand for a fresh, new way to enjoy tea. Consumer testing of the sparkling tea found that 9 out of 10 who sampled said they would recommend the product to a friend after trying, commenting that it far exceeded their expectations.”
