UK-based Three Bees Spirits has introduced a redesigned bottle across its gin and rum range, combining premium presentation with a sustainability-led brand story that could appeal to airline and travel catering buyers.
Part of the B Corp-certified Market Harborough Honey Company, Three Bees Spirits draws inspiration from bees, botanicals and biodiversity. The new bottle design takes cues from the form of a bee, featuring a tall, slim profile intended to create a distinctive premium presence while reflecting the brand’s environmental ethos.
Founded in 2019 by Thomas and Julie Lamble-Dun, the company produces a range of four gins and two rums.
The brand’s best-selling Raspberry and Elderflower Gin is made using only natural ingredients and combines hand-pressed botanicals with the company’s own award-winning honey. Floral notes and a lighter flavour profile could make it particularly suited to premium onboard beverage menus and lounge offerings.
Alongside the bottle redesign, the company has introduced QR-code-enabled digital product information, allowing consumers to access ingredient and provenance details via an online product label.
Thomas Dun, Operations Director, said: “Since unveiling the new Three Bees branding, the response from customers, retailers and industry contacts has been overwhelmingly positive. People immediately connect with the natural inspiration behind the design, from the elegant bottle shape through to the finer details that reflect our roots in beekeeping, botanicals and the environment.”
Sustainability remains a focus for the business. Alongside its B Corp certification, Three Bees Spirits is a member of the one per cent for the Planet network, committing at least one per cent of annual sales to environmental causes.
The combination of craft credentials, natural ingredients and a sustainability-led proposition positions the range for potential use across airline, particularly as operators opt for products aligned with more environmentally-conscious travellers.
