Studio 104, which creates exclusively designed luxury uniforms for industries from airlines to spas worldwide, is showcasing at WTCE for the first time.
The high-end brand, founded by Jane Porter and based in London, specialises in design-led uniforms of the highest quality.
Studio 104 can be found in the New Exhibitor Village at stand 1A112.
Their story began when Porter was on holiday at a five-star hotel with her husband in Africa where she noticed that the uniforms worn by the staff of the hotel simply didn’t match up to the luxury setting.
With a premier background in fashion, Porter knew she could do better.
Studio 104 was born, creating custom uniform for The Savoy in London, and subsequently The Dorchester, Gleneagles, Grosvenor House, Nobu Ibiza Bay and Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park.
They have since grown into the luxury multi-site restaurant, hotel, spa and retail groups.
Subsequently approached by NetJets who were looking for a uniform designer who could craft dresses, Porter flew out to New York to their busiest landing strip which led to a multi-year partnership designing the highest quality uniforms.
After all, “uniform is about empowering the employee,” the team told Onboard Hospitality in Hamburg this week.
Porter’s company now designs bespoke dresses for hotels and airlines across the world. They specialise in those details that really matter – like crease resistant fabrics that can be whipped out of a tiny suitcase and given a quick steam before a hostess’s next flight.
The woman-led brand designs variations with women’s monthly cycles in mind – for maximum comfort, allowing employees to perform their best.
The game changing service even extends to the delivery – Studio 104 takes care to provide a personalised delivery experience and takes pride in their chic website (modelled on Net a Porter) and easy-to-order services.
WTCE continues until Thursday, April 16.
