Stellar Entertainment reveals new brand identity

Stellar Entertainment has refreshed its brand identity to coincide with the 50th anniversary of the company’s founding in 1974.

The updated branding of the longest-existing company in the inflight entertainment (IFE) sector reflects Stellar Entertainment’s dedication to growth and innovation.

The refreshed visual identity features a vibrant, dynamic new colour palette designed to capture attention. The diverse palette is said to represent the vibrant tapestry that defines Stellar.

A press release explains how the rebranding represents a unified visual language, embodying warmth, energy, diversity and dynamism along with a dash of playfulness.

The updated logo pays homage to the company’s previous star emblem and heritage but has a contemporary twist, signalling a dynamic future ahead.

“Stellar’s 50th anniversary is a celebration of our rich history while signifying a bold step forward into the future,” said Sam Allen, Chief Executive Officer of Stellar Entertainment.

“The last few years have been a proud testament to the remarkable journey we’ve been on and how we evolved as a company. With a growing global footprint that includes flag carriers like American Airlines and Air India, we have cemented our position as leading inflight entertainment experts,” he continued.

“At the heart of this success lies our diverse and dedicated team, who consistently go above and beyond to simplify the lives of our airline clients. Our refreshed brand identity is not just a visual update; it reflects our evolution and vision for the industry. It encapsulates our growth, our global team of diverse IFE experts, and our steadfast dedication to delivering an exceptional inflight entertainment experience for passengers today and beyond,” concluded Allen.

The refreshed brand identity is said to reflect Stellar’s client offerings and commitment to innovation through technology-driven solutions of which its proprietary content management system, pixLTM, is central. The system is designed to increase efficiency across the inflight entertainment life cycle by streamlining the complex task of managing IFE content.

Daniel Jacobs, Chief Operating Officer at Stellar Entertainment, said: “With pixLTM at the core of our innovative offerings, driving efficiency across the entire inflight entertainment life cycle, we have been able to introduce clients to exciting products and exceptional solutions, including the Stellar IFE portal with its unparalleled interactive features, the Stellar Awards Hub, and our smart programming application pixL GPT. It’s about simplifying IFE for our clients and helping them make better choices.”

As part of its brand rollout, Stellar will showcase both its new look and feel and its latest IFE developments during the APEX/IFSA Global EXPO 2024 in Long Beach, California.
