Silversea, the luxury and expedition cruise line, has introduced four distinct categories for its 17 suite types across its all-suite fleet. The new categories are named Oceanview, Veranda, Residence and Villa.
The Oceanview category features Panorama and Vista suites with large windows for ocean views.
Within the Veranda category are Premium Veranda, Deluxe Veranda, Superior Veranda, Classic Veranda and Veranda suites. Each has a private balcony, extending its living space outdoors.
The Residence category encompasses Junior Grand, Signature, Silver, Premium Medallion and Medallion suites. They offer separate bedroom and living spaces.
Otium, Master, Owner’s, Grand and Royal suites, with generous living spaces and large terraces, fall within the Villa category.
Guests in Residence and Villa suites will gain a new selection of benefits on sailings departing on or after January 1, 2027. Those include priority embarkation and early access to reservations, building on existing inclusions of butler service, 24-hour in-suite dining, complimentary Wi-Fi, multiple dining options, beverages, port fees, taxes and gratuities.
Villa category guests can look forward to the likes of a signature arrival experience; private consultations with the ship’s chef, sommelier and spa manager to personalise dining, wine pairings and wellness goals; in-suite wellness of a Technogym exercise bag, with a yoga mat, resistance bands and a roller.
“Guests choose to sail with Silversea time and time again for the intimacy of our ships and the personal attention that comes with it,” said Bert Hernandez, President of Silversea. “Our new suite categories let us build directly on that foundation. Whether that’s with early access to spa and dining reservations or dedicated time with the ship’s head sommelier – we’re strengthening the personalised service that has always defined Silversea, while maintaining and expanding on the inclusions guests know and love.”
